Community Guidelines

These policies are provided for your platform. Have a qualified attorney review them before relying on them for compliance purposes.

Our platform thrives on trust. These guidelines exist to ensure every member of our community — Owner or Renter — has a safe, fair, and positive experience.

1. Be Honest

Represent yourself, your tools, and your intentions accurately. Do not misrepresent the condition, functionality, or value of any item. Honesty is the foundation of trust in our community.

2. Be Respectful

All users are expected to treat each other with courtesy and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, threatening language, or hate speech of any kind — based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic — will result in immediate account suspension.

3. Communicate Through the Platform

For your protection and ours, keep all rental-related communications within our in-app messaging system. This ensures both parties are protected in the event of a dispute.

4. Honor Your Commitments

If you've confirmed a booking — as either Owner or Renter — follow through. Last-minute cancellations cause real disruption. If something unavoidable comes up, notify the other party as soon as possible through the Platform.

5. Protect Personal Information

Do not share your own or another user's personal contact information (phone number, address, email) in listing descriptions, reviews, or messages. Use the Platform's messaging system for communication.

6. Leave Honest Reviews

Reviews help our community make informed decisions. Leave reviews that are truthful and based on your direct experience. Do not:

  • Offer or accept incentives in exchange for reviews
  • Leave reviews in retaliation for a dispute
  • Create fake accounts to inflate ratings

7. Report Problems

If you encounter a listing, user, or message that violates these guidelines, please use the in-app reporting feature or our report form. Our Trust & Safety team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action.

8. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • Warning issued to the account
  • Listing removal
  • Temporary suspension of Platform access
  • Permanent account termination
  • Referral to law enforcement in cases of fraud or criminal activity
